:D I always knew that there was a world of people who did homebrew games for the virtual boy, but I never really knew how crazy it is becoming. Just heard the news that someone put out a demo of Street Fighter 2 running on it with added 3D graphics. What is more insane is that there is a USB device that plugs into the cart slot and you can run the homebrew stuff directly on the hardware. My day has been made. I never imagined being able to play street fighter on the Virtual Boy!

:( Found a dead cicada outside my apartment stairs yesterday morning. They're so pretty... RIP little guy.

:( Wanted to watch Godzilla 1985 for the hell of it. I knew they never came out with a DVD, but there's still no way to watch it other than VHS. We'll have to watch "The Return of Godzilla" instead, which is honestly a better choice but Kit doesn't like "Subbing". Also found out my copy of "Godzilla vs Biollante is subbed not dubbed. :?

:D New NIN Album!

Ordered a 16 GB Vita Memory card from Amazon and they sent me and 8 GB card..

Already sent a return email saying I wanted a switch so it shouldn't be a huge issue..

Ick... had that happen with a MS DUO before. Wasn't a huge issue, but it sucks having to go through those extra steps.

Yeah that one hit home when I found out. They were my go to for a long time before Newegg kinda cut them out of the market.

Smile/frown: Got a gmail from someone (a neighbor in college) I haven't spoken to in several years asking "Do you know how to get all the resin out of a big bong? I'd google it, but google tracks your searches".

My reply: They also track your gmails.

I was tempted to respond with "first wash your bong in the dishwasher" but that would be too mean.

Smiled - Dcon is coming up and I have a neat video project I am working on for it.
Ticked - Got an odd email at work that pretty much said that by next year our local call center is being phased out, but most people are not going to read between the lines and see that that is what it means. Pretty much they are automating our back of the house processes for scheduling orders. So instead of a 200 person call center, they can do it with 30 people at five times speed. While this is great for the customers and sales sides, it makes me worry about those 200+ people that they are going to let go of next year.

 Only getting two days next week, and they're only 6 hours each. That's HALF of what I've been getting for the past few weeks. Apparently I'm not the only one. My mom's hours also got cut, but not my brother's girlfriend's hours. And no doubt no one's gonna be giving up hours as much, especially since all the college program kids have gone back to school.

I also found out that Typhoon Lagoon's closing for "refurbishing" in October, but I'll be deployed to another park.

I think I'm gonna have to get a second job.
