lol yeah I know I always have been doing that crap for years. What's better this system or that system? Should I keep this system? What games should I buy? When will someone tell me to shut the f    k up? Here is what I learned from all this "midlife crisis" and why I kept these systems I choose and got rid of the others.
1. The dreamcast is my favorite system. I learned that since it was the system I always regret the most when I sold it years ago.
2. I grew tired of the 8bit generation and if I ever wanted to get a nes game there is virtual console on the wii. Plus my buddy says he can mod my wii also.
3. I enjoy the wii now. Its a system for casual gamers and not hardcore gamers "my opinion on that. Plus I love playing Mario bros and I own mario kart so my wife and kids join.
4. If I wont play it then don't buy it or sell the game so someone else can play it. It's only a game not a freaking house or a car.
5. I kept the ps2 well c'mon it has over 1800 games for a library. I have a friend who is giving me his games at work next week. People are giving games away. How can you go wrong. Plus if I get these games, I'll just throw them up here for free if I know I wont play them. I'll keep that posted as soon as I find out.
Last but not in a bit of least. Be happy in your life. If you get a system and like it or a game keep it or sell it or give it away if you know its just going to a shelf. If your a collector then be a collector, if your a gamer just be a gamer. Don't ask for other peoples opinion if you don't know in your heart what your going to do. I have more but I cant really explain it now. But for the most part, Just enjoy what you have, be yourself, and if you want something then get it and don't ask other people for acceptance in getting something or doing something. If that's the route then stop being a bitch and either get whatever your getting or do what ever you want to do. If you have doubts then don't do it.

Just a little something else to throw up here:

As I've come to see as of late, in reference to all media and such, if you question whether you still like it or your tastes change, just go ahead and sell it. I recently condensed my music collection (which was already pretty small) and I've found that having less, but what you have being something you appreciate more makes it much better.

Or you could just buy a 2 TB external harddrive, store it full of music/movies/games/anime/whatever you want, and come back to it when you feel like it.
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box

That's kind of how I see my physical collection. A vast library where I can just pick what I want to play when I want to play it. It doesn't even matter if I will ever play all of them or when. Just having the choice to pick something is already good enough for me. And I like collecting too. Gaming and collecting are really two completely different hobbies. At least I get to play with my collection. Something you can't do with stamps for instance...

Also, I like my games better than having money in the bank. Money's just money. And games tend to be a better investment than putting money on a bank account anyway. At least when you know where and when to buy them...

Not saying there aren't any better investments out there, but I'm pretty sure they are a better investment than 2 or 3 percent on a bank account. Not when you buy all of your games new and full price of course. But I don't...

By the way, just no? That's not very satisfying. You can do better than that...
