Dude. Flojo, that sucks man. I actually just got hit a couple days ago too -- they got my 360, PS3, Wii, DS, and PSP. And a cheap laptop. I consider myself lucky, as they also ignored ALL of my retro systems which are literally strewn about the house right now because I'm renovating my attic where they usually live. Not only would those have been exponentially more expensive to replace (I've modded them heavily, plus some of those flash carts are expensive), but exponentially more difficult to FIND to replace. So I hear where you're coming from. Good luck finding them -- I had serials on mine so I'm hoping they get pawned (and thus recovered, because pawn shops have to report serial numbers to the police), but I'm not betting on it. Checking Craigslist, but I don't have much hope.
People. Gotta love em.

Nor did I. But I plan to do it for all my systems now (I didn't have them for the DS/PSP, but whatever those are cheap)... ONLY reason I had them for the consoles was I still had the boxes for them in my closet, so I got lucky.

damn. that sucks kalessin.
one thing thats even worse for me is that the computer had 6 years of photos in it.
another thing you have to watch out for is that the serial numbers on PSP's are crappy and sweaty hands fade the stickers.
both of my mine faded long ago.

Most seasoned thieves scratch them off anyway. As the old joke goes, "I've got this brand new tv that I'll sell you for twenty bucks. Only catch is that is has a small scratch...on the serial number".noiseredux wrote:I never thought to record my sereal numbers until now.

take an old soldering iron or something and carve the serial number in so it can't be scratched off.

did you register your console at all? usually they have the serial number on file if you did at one point or another (Club Nintendo, etc)KalessinDB wrote:Nor did I.
