What's your favorite Mega Man stage theme?

What's your favorite stage theme as far as Mega Man games go? Taking into consideration how many games there are, and how good the music consistently seems to be, you can pick one theme from the original series (Mega Man 1 through 10) and the X series (Mega Man X1 through X8 ). My picks:

Original series: Spark Man (Mega Man 3)
X series: Storm Eagle (Mega Man X)

Too much good in all of them.

For original series, probably either Elec Man or Snake Man.

For X, probably either Storm Eagle or that power rock ballad Spark Mandrill.

(We're not counting Dr. Wily/Sigma stuff, right?)

But as Luke says, there's so much good in all of them. (Luke, that makes 4 things, I think.)

Bubble Man. No better to be found.

Mega Man X is OK, but it just doesn't do it for me the way the original did.

All of the MM 3 stages. (Except Top Man. Never Top Man.)

For realz, though, I don't know. That's tough. I don't really care about the X series music. Probably because most of it is on the SNES.

If I have to choose just one track then-- all of the MM 3 stages. Seriously, I can't do it--

Or probably Hyper Storm H, actually. This is an impossible mission.

MM - Elec Man
MM 2 - Wood Man
MM 3 - Snake Man

MM X - Spark Mandrill
MM X2 - Flame Stag
MM X4 - Jet Stingray

They switched composers for X3 and it shows. I didn't find any of the music memorable, although I did like the game. The music in X4 is pretty much completely different, but I feel it works very well and flows perfectly with the gameplay.

Each level in almost every MM game fits each boss so perfectly, don't they? I believe MM2 nailed it the best, but that is a subjective opinion. On the other hand what is a fact is that MM2's music fits perfectly with every stage, and impressively on an 8-bit level.

The Bubble man theme sounds aquatic. The Metal Man theme sounds like grinding gears. Quick Man's stage sounds neurotic. Wood man's theme sounds like something a gorilla would pound his chest to. And so on. I think it's marvelous from start to finish.

And even in the rare circumstance that the music or levels don't match the boss (Crash Man) it's still memorable.

MM5 - Stone Man
MM6 - Tomahawk Man

Sadly my favorite theme of all time isn't from a regular stagestage. It's this one from MM5

Great music, great level, great start to MM3.
