Games Beaten: Lifetime

We already have yearly ones, why not see lifetime beaten lists? Seeing some the lists you guys post on the yearly ones, though, I'm sure a lot of lists will put mine to shame.

Considering how many games I own, I've got a long ways to go. And even though I may not have beaten a whole lot of my games, I have played the majority of them.

Total = 309 Games Beaten

5.Diablo II (and "Lord of Terror" Expansion)

Lord of Destruction, get it right!

Also, youve beat alot of games, alot more than me.

Fixed, sorry. Lord of Terror was one of the demons in that game though, right?

Almost every Atari game loops. Totally invalid I say.

You can beat Crystal Castles. You can beat E.T. Saying you "beat" Missile Command or Space Invaders is like saying "I beat a level".

Can you really count that you beat Sonic 3 + Knuckles both as separate games and as one game?

If you beat them separately, yeah. Sonic & Knuckles locked together with Sonic 3 is a completely different game than playing each of them alone.

Fixed, sorry. Lord of Terror was one of the demons in that game though, right?

Yeah!, Diablo is the Lord of Terror, Mephisto is the Lord of Hatred, and Baal is the Lord of Destruction, at least this is all true in the Diablo universe.

This brings up the question, how do you define beaten or completed? like ive tried to compile a list like this, but i always end up getting to a game that you cant really "beat".

Like how does one finish a Fighting game? This answer could be different depending on the generation, i mean if you get all the trophies/achievements now a days, its good to say its a win.

I'd like to participate, but I can't remember everything I've finished during the 25+ years I've been playing games.

I only recently, a couple years ago, started recording what I've finished, before that I wouldn't really remember unless I saw the game ... even then it's not guaranteed.

Also, I've always thought that the idea of applying some threshold hours played for games that have no actual end-game scenario is good enough for considering it "beaten".

If you beat all the character's storylines in a fighting game, beat. That one seems like an easy definition, to me.

It's the Atari era ones that are iffy for me. I listed games that I played A LOT.
