I noticed that too. I guess even ol' Carl can't escape Dora the Explorer!

After researching more about my car, I found out that I can't flush the cooling system without special tools so I brought it to the mechanic this morning. He flushed the system and added the antifreeze water mixture for me and didn't charge me anything. He said I had enough trouble with the car and not to worry about it. This is the second time they've done some minor thing to my car and not charged me. I'm really glad that I found them, they've treated me awesomely.
Thanks for all the advice guys. That seems to be what the problem was, the lack of antifreeze. We'll see.

Awesome, hope that's the end of that then.

I hope so as well.
Though I have an odd felling she'll need a new radiator within a year.

More than likely. If we keep it that long. First chance of selling it I have it's gone.
Anybody wanna buy a car?

Or she has a bad head gasket and it'll just burn up the coolant that got put in soon enough.

Yeah if it is that they may as well just junk the car and move on. No sense dumping even more money

Can depend. To be fair, I dumped my Dodge Shadow when it had that problem, but I got my dad's old Neon for free to replace it.
The parts to fix it are cheap. The labor is what gets you.
(assuming that it's a less-problematic head gasket issue...they can be quite catastrophic too, but mine was of the "steams away the coolant" variety
)
