SOPA is back!

Post by Sasha_Blue »

I got the word today that it's back. Bad news for anybody that contributes to the gaming community by making art, videos and such.

I didn't even know until I clicked on the AlphaOmegaSin video. I thought they killed it. Apparently the changed a few things and a lot on the document is very murky. I don't like it.

I have good hope we as the internet can together destroy this thing once again. I know this is obvious but spread the word about this to everyone you can.

It has been "back" several times now. It won't go away they will just keep changing it, the bill means too much to fat cat politicians and the lobbyists (aka big fat checks from corporations who are protecting their "interests" ).

Companies still would rather blow tons of money lobbying than actually work out a proper business model.

I wonder what they'll blame if they manage to somehow stop all piracy and shitty movies still don't sell as well as they want?

People still use the phrase "fat cat" to refer to things that aren't overweight felines?
