It's cool becuase it's an all-new Doom game. So that alone makes it good. But it's still the weakest one, IMO. A lot of it having to do with the game being so freaking dark and hard to see.

That's kinda why I liked it so much. I just dig the dark games, Metroid, Doom, even Kid Icarus. And Doom 64 just makes it even darker. It's the most metal thing I've ever played.

I don't mean it has a dark style or atmosphere. I mean it's hard to see things in the game because the lighting sucks.

Yeah, I know. That's what I mean by "even darker". It takes that dark, moody atmosphere and literally blackens it. The "metal thing"...was a joke...

For what its worth (probably not much but hey), when it comes to Doom 64 the tv you're playing on seems to be a factor.

Of the two tvs I have, one is impossibly dark even with the brightness cranked, and the game is unplayable. The other displays perfectly fine with normal settings.

Series you try to get every game for.

Post by TheRev »

I find that I'm trying to get every Rockman game not Mega Man but a complete Rockman Set. At least up to X4 anyway. So far...all I have is X4 on Saturn. I have Rockman 8 on order and should have it 2nd week of September.

Also I find that I'm trying to get every Ridge Racer Game. There is no racing game I love more than Ridge Racer other than maybe Outrun and Outrun I just need 1 version, the Saturn Version. (MAYBE the Genesis version for the extra track)

How about you guys what series do you collect?

Hey Dsheinem maybe you should just take the former off of "former moderator" so you can keep on top of merging all the threads as it really is better than having 10 threads about the same thing.

Well getting every Rockman game is a lot cheaper than getting every Mega Man game that's for sure.
