3- STREET FIGHTER 2
4- MORTAL KOMBAT
5- BATTLETOADS
6- SUPER TENNIS
7- UNIRACERS
8- TURTLES IN TIME
All mine, baby.
-Edit- Derp, I'm an idiot. 40 bucks.

Re: Best and Worst One-Time deals
I've gotten some pretty good deals over the years. My favorite by far though is about a week ago. I bought a Factory Sealed Copy of Dragon Force for $60!
To say I was stoked to get this would be an understatement.
As far as worse deals go. I can't think of any horrible ones off hand. Sometimes for games I want I pay more than market value for. That'd be about it.

Re: Best and Worst One-Time deals
Good Deals:
FF7 black label complete for $5
Splatterhouse 3 cart only for $1
Modded Playstation 1 with two mem. cards two controllers, and complete copies of Alundra, Silent Hill, Marvel Super Heroes Vs. Street Fighter, Gauntlet Legends, Warcraft 2, Tomb Raider 2 and disc only Diablo for $20.
Sega Saturn with 4 games (3 free pack + MK) and hookups for $5
Boxed Dreamcast for $20
Working Super Nintendo, sans cords, for $.50
Bad deal:
Found an ad on CL for a bunch of old videogame stuff. They didn't know much about it, but I offered $70 and they accepted. Ended up getting a big box with loads of stuff mixed in, but few systems had the right cords or cables or anything and most of it looked like crap. It was an alright deal, but not nearly as good as I thought it was going to be. Ended up with a Nomad (no battery pack) Ps2 (DRE) Xbox disc drive (Don't know anything about this) Colecovision (Just power cord) Atari 5200 (Boxed, but missing cords) Atari 2600 Jr. (Boxed, but again missing cords) Super nes (Cords gone) Atari 400 (Don't know enough about it to know what all it's missing) Nes (no cords) and some kind of Texas Instruments computer (Boxed) not an awful deal, but I have my doubts as to whether any of it works or not, and I'm hesitant to buy cords and controllers to test it.

Re: Best and Worst One-Time deals
A few years back I won some money at a slots parlor. The next day I went to this independent video rental store and asked if they had any older games for sale. The kid let me go in the back room and look around. I ended up buying about 40 NES games complete with instructions and plastic boxes that included cover art for about $50. If I could have gone back I would have went through their inventory a little closer but at the time I was on a serious NES kick. I can't remember what I exactly got either seeing as how most of my stuff is spread out across the country.
Re: Best and Worst One-Time deals
Man I've found so much stuff at thrift stores it's crazy. Everything from boxed a NES to intellevisons and games from almost every system. Best deal was probably Intellegent Cube complete and mint for $4.99 from Goodwill.
no really bad deals, except when I moved out of my home and my brother sold all of out nes, snes and genesis games and systems for drugs. jerk.

BEST DEALS:
- Saturn + disc only or disc and manual: Guardian Heroes, Shining the Holy Ark, Nights Into Dreams, D, Dark Savior & about 15 other games for $40
- FF7, Star Ocean 2, Parasite Eve 2, Medievil, and a bunch of strategy guides at $3-4 each.
- A PS2, Suikoden 1, 2, 3, Shadow Hearts 1 & 2... basically a ton of RPGs for $250
WORST DEALS:
- Boxed Game Gear TV Tuner for $20 as well as an SNES Game Saver for $10 (not bad deals, but not good ones either)
- Paid $200 for a bag of PS1 & 2 RPGs because, at the time, Legend of Mana was $80 and it was one of the games. Took it home and tried to play LoM... it wouldn't load. Someone had buffed it into non-working condition. XD
I'm sure I've gotten worse deals, those just stick out in my mind as times I kicked myself. I usually kick myself for NOT acting on a deal tho. Recently saw an HD DVD player from Sony complete in box at the thrift store for $6 and I didn't buy it. D'oh!

I have a ton of games listed at my store's site: Super Smash Video Games
