Crimson Dragon should be interesting. And now with traditional controls.
Yeah, I am looking forward to Crimson Dragon :)

FWIW, though, the PS4 launch date/library is still not confirmed...
Is there a launch date for the One yet?

Nope

Probably not going to get an Xbox One at launch. But I'll certainly consider getting one eventually. For now the PS4 and WiiU should satisfy my needs. Eventually the Xbox One will likely have enough exclusives (and maybe exclusive imports) to win me over. But I'm really looking forward to the potential of the new Kinect.

I've said it before, but Child of Eden 2 please. Or even an updated CoE compatible with the Xbox One and new Kinect would get me to buy the system.

For me it would be Watch Dogs and Ryse for sure. It's funny, but I think Dead Rising looks way more appealing now that they did whatever to it. 1 and 2 didn't appeal to me at all. Have you seen the latest trailer? Seems like it still has some of that humor you're looking for.
Why are you guys buying next gen. console to play Watch Dogs? isn't it availible for the ps3/360?
Its even on the Wii U. Unless you do not own any current gen console.

I liked the crazy dead rising in the mall. The new one seems too serious

I'm not buying a current gen console to play Watch Dogs. I'm buying a current gen console and that's one of the games I'll be getting for it.

It will almost certainly look and play like crap on the old hardware. If I didn't have the PC I do I would be one of the launch buyers myself.

Im almost certain nobody is buying a One just for Watch Dogs. More probable that it just happens to be one of the launch titles to tide them over till the exclusive games they really want come.

I'm curious how many people are buying a next gen console who have enormous backlogs of games for older systems they haven't even touched...

My backlog is only about 10 or so games since I sold most of my older stuff and went digital. I don't worry much about pre orders or buying things ahead of time anymore.

Actually my back log is surprisingly getting smaller and smaller. I was able to spend some of the free time I received hacking away at a lot of titles. I also moved my Dreamcast back onto the entertainment center and have been trying to whittle the bulk of my list down. Also, I don't really plan on getting any of the newer systems aside from the WiiU my wife and I recently purchased. I might get a PS4 much later in its lifecycle and start working on its catalog
