Xbox One
Re: Xbox One
What are you guys planning to start off with? Watch Dogs is a no brainier for me, but I'm still interested in BF4 and COD:G. Still have mixed feelings about DR3, technically looks amazing, but it looks like it lost the charm and humor from the first two games in the series.
If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?

Re: Xbox One
Crimzon Dragon and KI are definites. I'll probably get B4 and/or COD:G. Non-exclusives like those (and Watch Dogs, Madden, etc.) will depend on reviews/platform comparisons/etc.

Anyone catch the news this morning about the killer instinct pricing?

Basically they are launching an incomplete game (6 characters, no story) that you can pay in advance, with the promise that you will get the rest of the content at a later date.

Re: Xbox One
They also announced a new Fable. It will apparently be a bit like Dungeon Land. Three player Co-Op with a fourth person being the "dungeon master" of sorts, placing enemies and traps and such.
Older. Not wiser.

Doesn't Dungeon Land sound more like a game that seems at home on the Wii U with the gamepad? Give 4 players wiimotes and the DM gets to use the pad:RyaNtheSlayA wrote:They also announced a new Fable. It will apparently be a bit like Dungeon Land. Smart glass. Use a phone or tablet.
Not sure if that's the setup they're going for, but it would work quite well.

Yup! And nearly every developer has missed the opportunity so far.avrame wrote:

Is there a launch date for the One yet?dsheinem wrote:Yeah, I am looking forward to Crimson DragonZenErik wrote:There's more there than for PS4 launch as well. Xbox One has the strongest launch lineup between the Xbox One, PS4, and WIiU.
Crimson Dragon should be interesting. And now with traditional controls.
FWIW, though, the PS4 launch date/library is still not confirmed...
For me it would be Watch Dogs and Ryse for sure. It's funny, but I think Dead Rising looks way more appealing now that they did whatever to it. 1 and 2 didn't appeal to me at all. Have you seen the latest trailer? Seems like it still has some of that humor you're looking for.avrame wrote:What are you guys planning to start off with?
