And for KoF XIII (and Knights in the Knightmare and Dark Spire) - it's, just the soundtrack. NOT REALLY LIMITED EDITIONS.

I did see the Super Limited Edition of Dodonpachi Saidaioujou, but the extra money wasn't available. The smaller box for the one I ordered is handier too for my storage limitations (that's what I'm telling myself anyway!);)
I lied. I'd forgotten that I got this when it first came out all those years ago. Thoroughly enjoyed playing it too and it's been sitting on my PC game shelf all forgotten about!

I bought the Survival Edition for The Last of Us and flipped it for a $40 profit. Which bought me my 1st clone and a few games.

I may be in the extreme minority here, but I generally don't care for limited/special editions for a couple of reasons:
- space is a premium in this house so I'd rather have a game in a regular sized case, not a giant ass box.
- the small handful of trinkets you get usually isn't worth the extra cost.
That said, I will occasionally buy a limited/special edition if:
- it doesn't immediately sell out at launch.
- the price drops to the point to where it's only a couple of bucks more expensive than the regular version (like Deathsmiles, where I actually had an easier time finding the limited edition and it was about the same price as the game alone).
Here are some of my favorites:
Ys III: Wanderers from Ys Collection Box (PS2) - comes packaged in a box meant to store all the PS2 Ys releases. Also includes a soundtrack CD and artbook. Only problem is, if you place all the PS2 Ys games in the box there's no longer room for the CD/artbook!
Hyperdimension Neptunia Premium Edition (PS3) - includes a beautiful hardcover artbook. When the game was first released I believe the premium edition was the only edition.
Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist Of Arland Limited Edition (PS3) - another NIS game with a great artbook. Like Neptunia, this was the only version of the game I could find around launch.
Deathsmiles Limited Edition (Xbox 360) - love the soundtrack and the faceplate is cool looking (even though it won't fit the newer 360 model that I own!).
The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky Premium Edition (PSP) - has a nice world map, soundtrack, and emblem.
Ys: The Oath in Felghana Premium Edition (PSP) - The soundtrack is nice but the calender(!) is surely the best part. I didn't get the Premium Editions of Ys Seven or I&II as they were far to expensive by the time I got around to buying the games.
