Import games on the ds.
Import games on the ds.
Ive never imported a game on any system in my life. I think now is a good time to do so for my DS. What are some of the best imports that have very little Japanese or has an English guide. Any Genre.

Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan is fantastic. You need to have an appreciation for Japanese music, but if you do, you'll enjoy it. It's a rhythm game where you tap and draw on the screen in time with the beats, and cued to on screen prompts. It's really addictive.
Bleach DS is a really nice fighting game for the DS. You'll want a guide (gamefaqs has a good one) to figure out all the options you might want to set (but you'll probably set them once and forget them) and if you want to go through story mode. But if you just want to get in on the fighting, you can jump right in.
Daigasso Band Brothers is another fun rhythm game. It's similar to Rock Band or Guitar Hero in that you are playing a song, but they accomlish it by taking a song and breaking it down into several midi instruments. You play with the d-pad, the four face buttons, and use the L and R buttons for octave shifting. The music is a mixture of J-pop, anime theme songs, video game music, and world music (including Smoke on the Water). It also has a song creator, that lets you add in music on a standard staff to make your own custom songs. You'll need a guide to figure out what the actual songs and parts are, but you'll quickly learn what is what. Gamefaqs once again has a good guide for it.

There's always Tingle's Rosey Rupeeland, it came out in EU, so you don't need to worry about any language barrier.
I have a ton of games listed at my store's site: Super Smash Video Games

Ketsui Death Label has recently arrived on the Nintendo DS. You could import it for a hefty sum, or play the shoot 'em up through more unscrupulous means.
Not import titles, but I would also recommend Space Invaders Extreme and Bangai-O Spirits as other quality Nintendo DS shoot 'em up style games. I've played both of these on the DS, and love 'em.

Also known as Elite Beat Agents. The Japanese original has better music and the sequel is even better!MrPopo wrote:Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan is fantastic.
