That's not what an oxymoron is, but I get your point.

TEEN MOM made getting knocked up "cool". JUNO showed how uncool being a Teen Mom could be in a way teens could "get". JUNO is a great flick.

I watched iSteve on netflix. It's a spoof biopic. I found it moderately funny with most the worthwhile jokes being nerdy references.

Steve Jobs and Melinda Gates have a Demolition Man style virtual reality fling if that helps direct your expectations.

I went and saw 2 Guns. Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlburg had a good back and forth, so the antagonistic buddy cop thing worked well. Plus, it had a Mexican Standoff in Mexico.

Did they walk away from explosions and spew cliches? Did Marky Mark play a not so smart but actually smart tough guy? Did Denzel play the role of angry but wise black guy?

4 LITTLE GIRLS

"White people be crazy"

GIRLS shows, blatantly and horrifically, the absurd extremism some men believe is justified by someone's skin color. It's not just racism that some display, it is pure and utter hate. It wasn't simple discrimination during the time period of focus, people HATED black people only for their existence.

The big question on documentaries such as this is "Is this propaganda, a lesson, or entertainment?". I believe all documentaries include all three facets and should be judged and criticized on which facet dominates. With 4 LITTLE GIRLS, I would say "A lesson, entertainment, propaganda". This is the order I prefer. M.Moore gets more attention because he is the polar opposite when it comes to his films, but Lee comes across as the superior director of documentaries as his film shows more balance and clarity on the subject being discussed.

Lots of clichés, one explosion walked away from, one ran away from, one stood there and shot people while it exploded. Nailed Marky Mark's character, Denzel was more of that quiet fury; he never lets his calm drop, but you know inside he's a raging inferno.

I haven't watched the film. But after seeing previews, does it bug anyone else that Steve Jobs got a film, and is pretty much getting the all the credit for creating Apple; when most of us know that it's really Wozniak that created the Apple I & II (which launched the company into the forefront)? Hell, Jobs got fired in the mid-80s because he was being a tyrannical dick, from what I understand.

I know the guy died, and they're trying to give him some respect after the fact. But give credit where credit is due.

Woz had little to nothing to do with current Apple, and Jobs was much more of a factor in the success of its earliest iterations.

Read Isaacson's book. It's excellent. Yes Jobs is a dick, but he's well deserving of the praise he gets.

He was instrumental in reviving apple with the ipod and iphone. Iphone worshippers like Dave have him at idol status now, so they are trying to cash in on his legacy before everyone starts forgetting him.

What perfect timing Dave, I was typing up my post before I even saw your reply. Makes it that much more humorous for me.

Stop right there.

The movie is about Apple, not Jerbs.

Woz is in it as much, if not more than Jobs.
