Did they walk away from explosions and spew cliches? Did Marky Mark play a not so smart but actually smart tough guy? Did Denzel play the role of angry but wise black guy?

4 LITTLE GIRLS
"White people be crazy"
GIRLS shows, blatantly and horrifically, the absurd extremism some men believe is justified by someone's skin color. It's not just racism that some display, it is pure and utter hate. It wasn't simple discrimination during the time period of focus, people HATED black people only for their existence.
The big question on documentaries such as this is "Is this propaganda, a lesson, or entertainment?". I believe all documentaries include all three facets and should be judged and criticized on which facet dominates. With 4 LITTLE GIRLS, I would say "A lesson, entertainment, propaganda". This is the order I prefer. M.Moore gets more attention because he is the polar opposite when it comes to his films, but Lee comes across as the superior director of documentaries as his film shows more balance and clarity on the subject being discussed.
