I have been to strip clubs both with my wife and with friends (i.e., without my wife). It is always a good time, but I always feel a little bit sad afterwards. It is always expensive, too; so I doubt I will go back to one any time soon.

Also...and as an FYI...male strip clubs are not generally targeted to women, and most women do not find them titillating. Accordingly, I do not think that any of you have to worry to much about your wives dragging you to one.

A few months ago my mom asked me if I wanted to go to a strip club for my 18th birthday (I just turned 15) and said she would take me. I told her I'd rather go to a really good arcade because, quote:
"Who would want strippers when you can have pinball?"
Now you know why I'm the lamest kid at school.

If you looked hard enough you could probably find a strip club with a pinball machine.

But if I get bored with that one machine, my only source of entertainment will be strippers and alcohol.

Why would your mom want to take you to a strip club? That in itself just seems weird to me.

Indeed, I bet it was a test.

A free ride and some money?
I probably should have made it clear that she was joking.
Then again, she'd probably enjoy it more than me.
Well, I know what I'm giving her once I learn how to drive.

Still weird. :? My parents and I don't talk about anything sexual at all, so that's why I think it's odd. The only time I have ever come close is when I got the epidural and got way too chatty, and I embarrassed Jinx and my mom with my TMI story about how our child was made. Oh how I regret that.

We don't usually have these kinds of conversations. Heck, I don't even watch TV shows where anyone talks about sex our anything around her to avoid the awkwardness after I watched the Star Trek TNG episode Hide-and-Q at my grandparents' house.
