Unusual nintendo cable

Post by JoeAwesome »

I went to a goodwill, and came across a cable that had something like an old PC joystick pinout on one end, and a snes controller port in, controller port out, nintendo av out (what you would plug into a snes, n64 or gamecube), and another cord all on the other end o this giant cord. Could it be for a steering wheel? Would anyone have an idea what it is? Sorry for the lack of pics, but I didn't have a phone at the time.

Screw the phone. Those take crummy pictures anyway. Grab a digital camera and post a shot here so we can help you identify this cable.

Based on your description, I'm just going to speculate that the cable you found may be the cable to a "Capcom Power Fighter Stick," but without pictures, I'll never know.

It took a good while of searching, but this is it:

I was almost going to pick it up as a curiosity, but glad I didn't. It looks pretty useless outside of this one product. Thanks for the reply!

Never would have guessed that in a hundred years.

If you're interested in modding controllers, that cord has a ten connectors for one price. Otherwise, it' pretty useless.

James Rolfe and Mike Matei check out this Victormaxx Stuntmaster system from where the cables you found came from -

They should have tried it in tandem with an Aura Interactor. True immersion.
