You say that but the RF out of a TG16 is not bad. For an RF signal it's actually pretty good.

BTW, just the type of thread Breetai would have had a major input in. :(

It is better than composite output on most Genesis.

No, but in the other thread you said you didn't have much of a disposable income. It might be better to focus your efforts on one system for the time being. If you want to collect for both, then go for it. Just be prepared to make some hard decisions as to what games to buy. :D

I'm considering it but I made this topic mainly for knowledge.

Perhaps aesthetically finest is a Duo with added RGB.

If you have to run the most games in one place...
Supergrafx, US/JP switch, CD drive, & arcade card.

On the other hand, if you have a Wii, you can download some of the better US titles for around 6 bucks for Hu-Card games, and 8 for CD games
Obviously emulation is free, but that's something I try to steer clear of.

My setup is a region-modded TG-16 w/ the US CD unit. (I got everything for a little over $200) That way I can play all Hu-Cards and CD games. Still have yet to obtain an Arcade Card Pro, though.

The PC Engine / TG-16 has such great composite out because it has a custom video encoder chip that just happens to kick ass.

And I just upgraded to a Duo for my birthday, so I have a Core Grafx bundle up in my BST thread.
