I am a free-spender, I will spend $200 on a new pair of pants and will spend $300-500 a month on games.
Nickfli: to be safe- i put condoms on everything. Even friends.

Im mostly a cheap spender, I hardly ever buy 60 bucks games. If its something I need like new shoes or a jacket I will buy a good brand cause I know they will last me a year or two.

I'm with you on that. While I enjoy buying cheap (but good) games, I don't buy cheap clothing. I don't care much about fashion or anything. There's an obvious difference between the quality and longevity of generic Wal-Mart shoes and name brand shoes.raztat wrote:Im mostly a cheap spender, I hardly ever buy 60 bucks games. I'm thrifty.
And there's nothing wrong with that!!

If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.
Re: Are You The Cheapskate or the Spender?
I spend very little. I probably only spend £100 on games a month. The last 3 or 4 months I've not spent much on games but I've bought a new PC so that's balanced that out roughly.
My fiancée is the worst, she buys little things all the time and ends up being skint (English word for broke). Whenever we go shopping i'll see something and think. I can't really afford and she'll just tell me to get it anyway. Which is great... but it makes me skint too! She's a bad influence on me.

I'm definetely the frugal one, what with her clothes, shoe, fabric etc. shopping.

Re: Are You The Cheapskate or the Spender?
I'll echo some previous posts. I'm a cheapskate, but I can buy so many cheap things it adds up quick. Most of my money is spent on gaming and sometimes DVDs and comic books. I generally don't worry about buying new clothes very often unless I've got some motivation to do so(like a party, special event or a hot date).
Although I buy cheap, I kind of have certain standards. Like I generally won't buy used games these days that don't have the box and instructions even though I used to years ago. I'm a bit more of a completist now. I'll make exceptions for particularly rare items though
EDIT: I kind of splurge around Christmas though, because I'm used to getting a company bonus. I usually buy at least one rare, pricey title off ebay every Christmas, my own special gift to myself.

I swing both ways, right now I am a saver, I got Christmas out of the way because I want to save money, because I am out of work during the winter season, because I work at a Ice factory.

I am cheap. Have always been. Only talk to economically efficient females as well

Welcome to the forums! It's good to have such diversity here! We don't discriminate against race, religion, or even sexual preference (as you can see by my friendly post here).
Sorry, couldn't resist it. No offense, man.
