Yoda and Darth Vader coming as DLC for Soul Calibur 4!

I dunno about you, but I'm quite content with SC & SCII.

I bought my PS1 specifically for Soul Blade, and my DC for Soul Calibur. This series is letting me down. Then again, I don't expect much from Namco.

I still don't get why Star Wars characters needed to be added to soulcalibur 4 for starters the story around them doesn't make sense. Vader needs the sould edge ? whyyyy ?

The arcade mode now has the Apprentice (that generic guy from the Force Unleashed) as the seventh opponent for every character and he has so annoying combos and air juggles that i gave up on trying to beat him.

Anyway what ruins Sc 4 for me the most that it feels too much like an ad for the Force Unleashed..you can even watch the trailer for it in some of the extra menus.

Since you bring it up, I was going to mention that I had been imagining a Namco Star Wars game for six years now. The Soul Calibur engine has been screaming for a Star Wars license. The weapons leave light trails for god sake. Instead they shoehorn a couple characters into the franchise. Give me "Star Wars: Jedi vs Sith" by Namco and I'll be happy. The dork that I am, I even sat down and compiled a list of characters to be included. Toss in character creation ala SCIII, and I'll be ecstatic. Why this hasn't happened yet is beyond me. It's like LucasArts refuses to accept someone making a better Star Wars fighter than that Teras Kasai crap they put out.

Meh, I think overall, SC is still the best out of these four titles, though I do want to spend some time with the editor in SC4. It looks interesting, if nothing else.
