Those five year old kids with their deeply thought provoking religious conversations are always causing a stir.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Whenever my students began to talk religion I told them to save it for church.
Smile: It's 65 degrees outside. In August. In Eastern NC.
It was like this yesterday as well. The wife and I went to "The Umbrella Market" which is an outdoor market held in uptown Greenville. The vendors usually suck, but there is beer served there, and it is close to the library. Also it's a good excuse to get out of the house.
Frown: Wife goes back to work on Monday.

But when I did, it was primarily math and reading.
To 5 year olds.
But when I did, it was primarily Dos Equis.

After a few years and me being a bit more apathetic than usual, I finally got my X-Arcade Solo stick up and running again. It wasn't being recognized by any computer I had or even the Dreamcast (it has console specific adapters available), then I went to their site and found that it might have been a bad interface cable, that connects to the main PCB inside the stick -
It was also a bit dusty stored away, so a quick cleaning was necessary -

I got the activator for my birthday as a kid from my rich aunt. I wanted it just to play streets of rage with it, since the ad had a kid playing it and it looks like what he was doing was what was really translated on the screen 1:1. I was soooooo disappointed when I got it.
Makes me smile to see Siskel and Ebert attempt to knock each other out with it. Probably the only people who had two activators in the same set up

Smile: Was sitting in one of the stalls in the work bathroom when I started to hear what sounded like faint music. I figured it was someone's ringtone that the person wasn't about to answer in the bathroom. Then I heard distinctive <click> <click> noises, and the music just kept going and going.
Pretty sure someone was playing a DS in the handicapped stall.
