It's a Perfect on DC, and yes, MORE than miles apart from its PS1 counterpart.

I didn't like PSO , it takes something like 45minutes into any level with no save points. Its very very repetitive . Not sure why so many people like this game..

I believe they have PSO on computer. I might just try that. Finding a good and free dialup provider and then getting in on a PSO private server seems like a pain.
I just wanted to try PSO online so I could experience online play on a Dreamcast since I never have.

Re: How is your Dreamcast gaming going on?
Anyone know how to remove stains from a white Dreamcast? Any console really.
On my Dreamcast my brother wrote his name on it with a Green sharpie. And it also has this brown stain on one of it's corners. It's looks like a scratch, but it is smooth when I run my finger through it, so I assume I could just remove the brown stain.
I was thinking about WD40 and some oxy clean wipes, since I saw it used in a YouTube video.
I was using rubbing alcohol, but I stopped because I think it is too strong and takes away the finish of the console (not as shiny).
I plain on cleaning some more since I am in the process of buying retro consoles like the Genesis and Saturn.

Get some of those white rubber vinyl erasers, the kind you can find at pretty much any place that would have school supplies. They're a godsend.
EDIT: There hobie are you happy now?

99% Isopropyl Alcohol for the sharpie marks. Magic eraser for the brown stains.

I loved it back in the day but I totally agree it did get really repetitive. Never was able to play my DC online but I could imagine how much more fun that would make it. FYI The GCN port supported multiplayer on the same console.
E.G.G. has been brought up a lot and I had it for a minute back in the day. The environment was beautiful. Like someone said before, it had that steampunk feel. That's probably all the good I can say. I got stuck a couple hours in and never tried again. Wish I still had it. Wouldn't mind another go. If I remember correctly, it was originally being made for the Saturn but was then pushed to the DC once they discontinued it.
