Sorry for your loss Luke. I always feel a lot of pressure simply being a pall bearer, I can't imagine what it is like to have to speak at a funeral.

My buddy from way back in high school and until present day joined the church triumphant this morning. aka, he's worm food.

He may have been the only white duder, and duder under 5'1 on our high school basketball team. Kid could scramble and shoot three's like JJ Redick on Red Bull and Pixie Sticks. Chicks loved him as he was tiny, cute, and very engaging. He loved the chicks back as he was about at "Boob Height".

He was a Boy Scout, a man on integrity and honesty, a Christian, and passed one week before he was about to re-marry his wife. He is survived by his Mother, Father, Grandfather, Wife, and countless friends.

Smile: It could be me getting embalmed right now.

Frown: Guy was in his early, early thirties. He died in his sleep after his lungs somehow gave out and became swollen with "liquids". Don't know how it happened, don't care. Luckily he didn't have kids and he'll have me to speak at his funeral.
I feel your pain. I had a friend die in junior high. Just keep your head up and remember that God loves good men.

I've not seen Elysium, but seeing the trailer made me think of Battle Angel Alita immediately.

 - Some drunk just totaled my fucking car. I park on the street because we don't have parking out back. Just blasted right into the back of it. Fuck.

Ugh, I swear there was a target on my last car the number of times it was hit, but it was never totaled. Are they in one piece and off to jail so you can extract justice?

Oh yeah. The guy was totally fine. After I heard the crash, dude was shifting back and forth from drive to reverse. Had his truck's steering not been totally fucked, I think he was trying to take off and couldn't.

Then while we're waiting for the cops to come, dude asks me for a cigarette; saying, "Well, I know I'm going to jail, so I wanna smoke a cigarette before I go."

I was only too pleased to tell the asshole I don't smoke. Fucking dick.

The worst part about it is we're supposed to go on vacation in about 3 weeks.

What foxhound didn't say is his dads car was parked in front of ours and got tore up as well. we got the worst of it started looking for parts for if it can even be fixed i gota better chance of finding a unicorn then getting parts or a replacement under 6 grand.
