you don't want it, homey?

It may be a bit sticky

Hush.

It's cool but I looked through it already and probably wouldn't even look through it again in my life or it would end up just getting messed up somewhere down the road. Art books don't really do much for me, hard cover guide books on the other hand I'll rock.

The only thing I don't like about this game so far is that from what I've heard, you can't max out a character's skills even at level 99. I hate when games do that, especially when players have no way of knowing that. It makes your choices more critical. One of the things I hated with Code of Princess is that you couldn't max stats. I want to have my cake and eat it too. Fist Puncher lets me max stats. Shinovi Versus lets you max out all elemental forms. I think Castle Crashers let you max all stats too. So why can't Dragon's Crown let me get all skills?

It's still a great game that I think highly of, but it's a pet peeve of mine when games don't let you max a character. It makes me feel like what's the point of leveling your character to the max then?

I hear there are respec items in Dragon's Crown though, but I think they are in limited quantity. I guess with respect items and 20 character slots, it's not the end of the world if you end up with a character build you don't like at level 99. So I'll give Dragon's Crown credit for that. I'm a perfectionist though, and the whole you can't have all the skills thing annoys me.

hah your actually the first person I heard argue this point, most people argue that its disappointing when you get every talent point in a game by the end of the game because whats the point of choosing if you just end up getting them all anyway.

I played a couple levels, and am getting used to the game.
I'm not exactly sure how to do side quests. I accepted the honey bee one (first one) and then went on the missing scepter quest. Am I doing something wrong? I don't mind doing the story quests first to open up the multiplayer, but I want to grind and level up before then.

At least at this stage of the game, once you beat a level for the first time you then get a sidequest to go back to that level and accomplish some task.

I believe you only have to clear one more dungeon to get online coop (not more than two anyway).

Yeah, I just decided to ignore the narrator and go back to the gate and visit the old levels.

People playing the PS3 version: are you using the analog stick or D-pad? I find myself sliding too much or doing too many unplanned aerial attacks I'm thinking about switching to the d-pad.

Is it even possible to switch to dpad? How do you use items then? L2, L3, R2, R3? I didn't see an option like that on the Vita, but the Vita has less possible button inputs. But does have two touch panels.

On the PS3 there's an option to switch D-pad and analog stick functions. So instead of d-pad left/right to select item and down to use, it's now analog stick left/right and down. I switched to that and I've found the controls to be more precise. I haven't run into any issues with having items on the stick.
