If we're looking at functional and polished games, I'd say that Final Fantasy 13 is probably the worst one for being so insultingly bad.

Also...I can assure you that Lunar: Dragon Song is really "bottom of the barrel/how the hell could they even release this game" bad. The fact that it bears the Lunar name only amplifies it horribleness.

I don't see what was 'insultingly bad' about FFXIII. It looked great and had a fun battle system. If you're just referring to it being linear, that's certainly miles away from 'worst game of this generation.'

This. Just because it is not to most FF fans' liking doesn't make it a bad game. Otherwise the NSMB series should be considered bad. (it's not)

Having played it, I don't think it is the worst. It's a let-down, sure. But not the worst game.

Here's a 360 game for you...this is easily one of the worst games I have ever played. Expecting a cool, modern version of Bomberman, the beloved Nintendo franchise? Well, you're not getting it, at least with this game.

I think that's everyone's issues in this thread. FFXIII might be a bad FF game to you, but it's not a bad game. Forever is a bad Duke Nukem, but not really a bad game. Etc.

It's definitely bad, and definitely NOT a Bomberman game. I think they were going for the advanced, futuristic look while incorporating the basic elements of a Bomberman game, but they missed the mark terribly. It's unplayable, imo.
