Agreed. Its like the penny thing. Breathalyzers are not checking the alcohol in your mouth, its the alcohol absorbed in the cilium in your lungs. For it to work you would probably have to grind the coal and inhale the dust, and that is typically a really bad thing.

I believe this comes from using Activated Charcoal to neutralize any poisons that may have been consumed. The charcoal binds to that poison, and makes it to where the body absorbs a much lower amount of the offending substance. It can make you either vomit or become constipated, or if given too much it can cause an intestinal block.

It's not made with the same charcoal that you buy for BBQ pits. As funny as it would be to see someone sucking on a piece of coal, it could kill you as it could be treated with chemicals to maintain burning. Please don't do it.

It won't work with the Breathalyzer for the reason that was previously stated, as the alcohol is in your breath. DO NOT INHALE CHARCOAL. The carbon in charcoal can deplete the oxygen levels in your lungs, resulting in loss of breath and suffocation. This can kill you.

If you have any sly EMT friends, they usually have access to Activated Charcoal. Watch your drinks around them if they are dodgy mofos and like to pull pranks. The charcoal will usually make you vomit, and is pretty tasteless when mixed with Mocha Monsters. Never accept a free drink from and EMT. Ever.

I've been at the school for three years and still haven't found a way to work my major's 101 class into my schedule. Just looked at the fall time slots - nope, can't do it. At the rate I'm going I'll be taking the 101 class last.
