Battlefield 4

Post by Sano »

So I spent the money and pre-ordered Battlefield 4. I am seriously hoping its not that junk. I like Battlefield 3, but it has serious issues. I was lucky enough to play the BF4 Aloha and I enjoyed the game play. All in all, I have to say it is better, and that is saying the Alpha is better than 3.

Anyone else plan on getting BF4 or pre-ordered it?

Already did about a few months ago. I got this dog tag promo they were giving out at the time, it also came with this code.

The gameplay looks pretty impressive. Hope you enjoy it!
Thanks! Sorry to hear you can't afford it :( At least you'll get some good reviews and some testimonials when you can afford to buy it; then you can decide if you even actually want to buy it.

I never knew that. Any idea why? I know in bf3 they had a lot of Chinese guns. I still have 1337 kills with the glorious qbb95 and have it placed on my dog tag so everyone gets to see it when I kill them.

Online games in general are popular in China, and I get the impression they like hypothetical nation-versus-nation games. I recall Command & Conquer Generals being a hit over there as well.

Dice killed all mod support though, so screw them. As for Boyfriend 4, seems it's more of the same. Couldn't they have taken it into the future somehow, or maybe even the past? Modern warfare's been quite overdone.

Dice killed mod support? That sucks. Also Boyfriend 4? Really? lol, that actually made me laugh.

Battlefield 3 only has one mod in development and it's not been released yet http://www.moddb.com/mods/her-battlefield-3

A shame really, as the engine is very robust.. We'll never get to play WWII tank warfare using Frostbite anytime soon :(
