The 3rd upgrade for MP regen is for all members of your party. So you and 3 demons. It is essential for dungeons, IMO.

I actually never got the third regen app until super late game when I was just spending points on random things. With regen 2 my MC never ran out, so I gave him my healing spells and he did a lot of the damage in random encounters, letting my other demons lay off. Generally the only time my other demons got low was during boss fights when I was laying on Debilitate and Luster Candy (50 MP each). And I found when I was playing that MP recovery items were plentiful compared to my consumption rate.

Well, I guess that's true. For regular fights my MC generally wiped the floor without my other demons doing much. But I still thought it useful to have regen for all as I was a gun heavy MC.

I went crazy with App's... I unlocked like 10 slots for new demons  and then another slot for skills. I just hit LVL 11 and just hit the part where I first encountered the Black Samurai.

I'd say it started picking up right before even, the part where
you encounter your friend in the forest and he's turned into a demon
surprised me.

The most surprising thing to me was that:
Navarre never comes back.
Spoiler but not a major one. Tagged it as spoiler anyway.

He does. At least on the neutral route, it's a late game quest to smuggle him out of Mikado and into Tokyo.

BTW, was listening to RPGCast this morning and they mentioned how good the free DLC armor was... you guys were all aware of free DLC armor?
