Aegis Wing - The Best Average Game Ever

I was replaying this today while waiting for something to download on my 360.. and.. I got sucked back in. I noticed I only had two achievements, then I realized I just want to beat the game (never did). Anyways, I just wanted to post about the greatest free game ever on xbla (I think it's only competition is that Yaris game and Totemball... so this wins).

I kind of wish the devs would have fleshed this out a little more and made it like a .. eh.. 400 point game or something. I love the music, but it gets repetitive. Maybe a few more enemy types. Other than that, I can't really say many bad things about it.

I never bothered beating this one as well. I'm pretty much in the same boat as you. It seemed okay (it was free after all), but it never grabbed me. The levels drone on with only slight variation - not a good sign. Still, I don't see why I shouldn't pull out a higher score from it and beat it someday.

Generic shmups like this Soldnier X, and the Last Hope really dissapoint me.

Shitty ass independent studios need to take cues from Alfa System, Treasure ,Raizing, Cave ,Technosoft, and Psikyo.

Too average, never beat it. There are much better free titles out there if you look beyond Xbox Live Arcade.
