I forgot about that. Can't recall when/where that happened or why.
And retrodude DID leave a "you suck, here's why" post over in the comic book thread. Better than a whole thread, I guess, but it gets the same point across.

Left side right on the home page, scroll down a bit and there's a listing of genres, formats, decades, etc etc.
The marketplace there is nice btw. I've bought a few LPs from there.
Hmm. Something I might have to play with. Its alright, but I dunno. Exploring some styles is just a case of finding the right places online. Been looking at various form of punk crossing over with other genres (gypsy punk, celtic punk, psychobilly, cow punk), and I'm thinking about looking into a bit of funk, so I don't really know where to look.
I also want to just generally look for some new stuff genre wise. I haven't even really looked at power metal, despite talking about it so much lately.
Discogs is more uh, collection tools type stuff. Lots of info in individual releases of different albums and whatnot. Plus again, the marketplace is great. You should at least take a look through there.
I'd just search through RYM's user lists, someone's bound to have some good lists for checking out specific genres or styles.

I have found some good stuff, a lot with a good bit of shit.
Another thing I'm starting to notice is that there's a lot of bands and singers who I like big stuff from, but not necessarily their whole discography. I need to look and find if there are more who have compilations and greatest hits style stuff.
