I'm not sure if people leaving a forum is a regular thing, but it seems rather petty (I picture the member stomping up the stairs like Marsha Brady). At least Indecks and Retrodude didn't post a "I'm leaving" thread.

I've been told "delete my account" after scolding people before. True jackasses like DC4Ever or constant thorns like Inazuma will get banned after discussion among the mods. Someone who's stressed and pitching a fit beyond their normal self? No, they need to go cool off somewhere after a warning. If I kill someone's account because they're freaking out, then it's easy for them to go "See! Mean old mod kicked me out and I can't go to the forum now! It's all their fault! Waah!" I'm not going to play bad guy so they can play righteous indignation.
Some people that asked to be kicked calmed down and got their business in order and then have been fine again. Shit happens, you have a bad day sometimes, life goes on.

Indecks is gone?
Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.

Is that usually how it goes?
I stopped posting at newsaskew because it was shut down. After it was eighty-sixed, the forum members found each other online and we still chat daily. Leaving a forum over a crappy argument is just dumb.

Don't call me late for dinner, but do call me a person who doesn't give two wags of a dog's tail what someone who I don't know says about me. Like people who don't pass on the first showcase on The Price I$ Right, I can't understand them nor find an excuse to curse someone on the net like a lunatic.
What's the point?
But... I'm certainly not one to keep my lips zipped in a face to face situation. I know what I say will carry a consequence.

I just realized that they don't show classic Looney Tunes shorts on TV anymore, do they?
It's sad. Like Luke pointed out, they might have it on Boomerang. But I don't get that channel as it's in the "Elite" cable package or whatever they call it. The one that's like the 300 channel package, vs. the normal around 100 channel package (and like 90% of those extra channels suck anyways).

What's the best non-metal music site for checking releases and such?
RYM is alright, although I sometimes have trouble working it, and there isn't really a way to check "similar artists" or anything like that. Haven't ever tried Discogs.
