Why... why on earth would they even bother to make a physical game case, and go through the $/effort involved in putting a commemorative pin inside that case... but no physical GAME????
You're not alone, I feel the same way. I'm still picking up the physical version but yea it's a pretty case with a pin inside... they couldn't burn the damn thing to a disc for the extra 5 cents?

*sigh*

Later this year we're getting Capcom Essentials or something like that - a physical release on PS3 - but it's like 5 games that were already released physically bundled with Mega Man 10. So stupid. Yet sadly I will be buying it just to have MM10 physically. Again, this means I'll be buying MM10 a second time.

/rant.
Has it been confirmed any were that MM10 is going to be on a disc? I assume they are going to pull a move like god of war collection (1&2 on one disc, 3 on a disc, and Ghosts of Sparta and Chains of Olympus where downloaded) and include a download voucher for MM10.

If they release enought remastered games eventually they will release a disc containing such rematerizations with some name like Classic Capcom's Remastered - Give us your money Edition 1... or something in those lines.

Wait Megaman 9 & 10 got fisical releases?!

There was rumblings of a "Capcom Essentials" compilation. It was supposed to have Mega Man 10, Dead Rising 2, RE6, DMC4, and one or two other games.

Seems more Essentially Random than anything. Why they don't make a big old' Mega Man Compilation set like Street Fighter got, I dunno.

You'd think the 25th Anniversary would be a good excuse for a Mega Man collection like that. At the very least why the hell would you release Mega Man 10 on a disc without 9?

Capcom hates Mega Man.

I totally agree with you, but even getting a box and pin is much more than I expected. Companies don't really have a whole lot of incentive to release anything physical for games like this. I'm not saying it's ideal, but they could have easily given us nothing at all.

I'm just happy we got anything

I'm not sure what to think of the Megaman situation anymore. I mean I know I pretty much hate Capcom nowadays and it's hilarious how they don't seem to develop anything themselves anymore, but yeah. Maybe it's for the best. Sega dragged their feet with Sonic for ages and crapped out too much, so at least we're not getting horrible new installments or shovelware oh wait. But then again I look back on all those crappy Sonic games and kind of think "at least they tried?"... haha, who knows.

Mascots aren't like they used to be, but yeah it's an awkward situation alright.
