I don't have a Play and Trade, I'd LOVE to have one. I've visited a few traveling. I got my copy of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for $20 at one, complete, and I got a bunch of Atari 2600 games in that same visit for $1 a piece.

Play and Trade automatically wins, IMO, because they carry retro stuff on top of the current stuff.

There are only two Play N Trades within 100 miles of my location so yea I've never been to one. However, if they do carry retro games then they are an automatic winner.

There used to be four Play 'n Trades in Charlotte...but today there are no locations within 100 miles of my home.

There's one about 30 mins from me and I live in LA. They are few and scattered part. If there are only a few in a big city like LA I can't imagine many in more rural places. It's kind of cool because they do franchise. So you could open one up.

Incredibly, there used to be national chain stores that sold retro games! They have all been displaced by Gamestop, however...

The closest thing we have to them in the Charlotte area now are Gamer's Alley (w/ three locations in the sprawling metropolises of Dallas, Cramerton, and Gastonia North Carolina) and G2K Games (w/ ten locations throughout rural North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia).
