Almost  . I was very happy when I saw some screenshots, but no unfortunately not.

The protagoniust was male. Also I remember the setting being medival Europe (as seen in anime). If I remember correctly you started in some European medival village fought some monsters and went to the guild for something.....really don't remember it
damn, i was sure that was it. Maybe another Grigon game?

look at these: http://www.hardcoregaming101.net/korea/ ... grigon.htm

Ah, see when you said demo I thought you meant unfinished/untranslated.

Well I'm kinda stumped then...

As far as Korean stuff goes, Magna Carta: The Phantom of Avalanche was released in 2001 but never translated as far as I know.

I got nothin'.

Narsillion seems pretty close. Specially this guy

I know it's fanart, but he looks a lot like the protagonist I remember. Any idea if that game was translated?

hm....I think Grigon is a good chance though. Any idea where I can find a list of all their games? Google hasn't been much help

EDIT

I went through this entire list

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:V ... outh_Korea

No luck but then again judging from the fact that it didn't feature any of the games you guys mentioned, maybe it's really really really incomplete.

Also talk about Koreans and their love for MMOs....

I am going to give this one last chance. Maybe I was wrong about it being Korean and it was Japanese?

Does anyone know of any good sources for all Koei and Falcom games published on the PC? I read on retrogamer that they were the Japanese PC JRPG powerhouses in the 90s and maybe it was they who published the game.

Also I thought about it, and the fact that the English version came out in 1999 doesn't mean the came couldn't have been much older (localization and all).

Most of the Falcom games have been mentioned. Here's a list:

Note that most were never translated to English.

What about Septerra Core?

Septerra Core is a good pick... Didn't think of it myself as it's a Western "JRPG"...

Here's a couple of longshots...

Knights of Xentar (Dragon Knight III)
Released in 1994 originally, but it had a CD-ROM reissue later on. Do you remember any hentai in the game you played?

Xak: The Art of Visual Stage
English version is "unofficial" so it's not listed on sites like GameFAQs

Finally, Ys II Special is Korean though I don't believe it had any widespread distribution

hahaha. Not only do I know Septerra Core, I used to own a big box version of it (till my mother threw it away when I moved out :( ).

No it's not it :P. But it came out about the same time. So the graphics were much more modern than the pics BoneSnapDeez posted. When I have some time I will go through those 2 lists, thank you :)
