Best Yu-Gi-Oh! Game?

Post by muhanad »

Hey guys, I've recently been getting back into yugioh, (I used to watch it and play years ago) and I was wondering what the best available yugioh game is. All the yugioh games I see are rated like 6 and 7 :( I'm not really into the newest stuff like 5D's or Zexal, I just enjoy GX and original.

Criteria:
-Preferably have online multiplayer (but if its really good with no online, say it)
-Any platform, console or handheld
-Must have most cards from GX and/or Original

Thanks for your help :D

My vote goes to The Eternal Duelist Soul for the GBA. It's a simple, fast, and fun version of the first couple sets of the card game.

On GBA Worldwide Edition is ok. World Championship 2006 is the best one though.

All the DS games range from decent to good, 5D's world championship 2009 is good (plays like an RPG), you don't really have to use synchros one of the best things about it (and world championship 2008 for that matter) is the structure duels where you use the real life structure decks like Dragons Roar and Zombie Madness, also like world championship 2006 it uses the real life booster packs ,well sort of, in 2009 The First few booster sets such as Blue eyes, Metal Raiders, Invasion of Chaos etc are replaced by Dark beginnings 1&2 and Dark Revelation 1&2 (which were real life compilation sets containing all the cards from the 2002 and 2003 booster packs).

Power of Chaos Yugi, Kaiba, and Joey were good, and obviously feature mainly the original sets of cards. I've been playing a lot of Duel Destines Plus on the PS3 (also on 360) and enjoying it, despite the characters being based on 5D's.

+1

This is my favorite hands down, and was nearly glued in my GBA for an entire summer.
Another sad memory from Katrina with this one. Brought all my freaking cards with me during evacuation, except for my main deck. I still have ALL my cards from when I was a kid, except for my favorite ones...

R.I.P. Exodia Deck.

I just loaded the rom onto my psp, It's kind of sad that after like 11 years I've totally forgot how to play it. I do faintly remember Harpys brother and Summoned Skull to be rather over powered in that game

I just played it on my break (rom on PSP) because of this thread!
Since I played it nearly every day, and often participated in tournaments, I can remember the rules quite well. :P

However, I periodically forget all of the rules to Magic the Gathering...
