Most third party games use the Pro controller in some fashion. They also patched in support for it in NSMBU. TW101 will use it in multiplayer as well. It's a good controller and the battery lasts forever which is nice.

You chose Epic Mickey 2? I don't think I've heard one good thing about that game.

-NSMBU
-ZombiU
-Super Luigi U
-Pikmin 3
-Lego City

All probably much better picks and all out now. Some good games coming very soon too and all the stuff for download.

There's definitely some interesting software on the way.

Personally, I think the list of games below are fairly decent:

- New Super Mario Bros. U
- Pikmin 3
- Zombi U
- Scribblenauts Unlimited
- Lego City Undercover
- Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate

You can also add some ports were actually improvements or potentially the best versions:

Need for Speed Most Wanted U
Batman Arkham City

Rest of the year:

- Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD
- Super Mario 3D World
- Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
- New Super Luigi U (retail, download it out already)
- The Wonderful 101
- Sonic Lost World (hopefully will be decent like Colors/Generations)
- Scribblenauts Unmasked

It seems to be the usual as far as Nintendo is concerned. You primarily buy a Nintendo console for Nintendo games. I actually never found it to be a problem having a few releases a year since I've got plenty of other platforms to play on. Nintendo consoles are great as a supplement to other platforms.

It isn't WarioWare-y enough for most. I don't own it myself but it looks like silly, stupid fun. Not really a priority for me at all, but I can see it being a bargain bin purchase.

I checked out the Wii U section in a store today, and it was kind of sad. All the accessories were discounted and there was less shelf space dedicated to them than before, while the 360 stuff continues to sell at full price.

Well they have to stock 2 new consoles this Christmas so....mind you I don't know what they'll do when those 2 fail to sell much too.

@Kdub

I dont like Mickey , I was looking for software that was only Wii U (meaning a reason to buy a Wii U) , I won't get new hardware to play ports of a system I already own thats why I do not count ports.

Mickey was one of the games that is new and only on Wii U. Out of the list you put, its no surprised the Wii U is selling that bad. With stuff like the Last of Us being released for ps3 who wants to play ZombieU . The games are very weak and it explains the slow sales.

The upcoming games are weak too. Scribblenauts is a very simple game to have a retail release (unless they are doing something new I do not know about). Wind Waker I doubt it will make WiiU's sell. Pikmin is ok, but I am not sure that this game is popular enough . I mean I do not know how popular it is, is it obscure to others or extremely popular like Kart.

Super Mario 3D and Wonderful 101 are Nintendo's hopes this year

@ZeroAX

why are you assuming they are going to fail to sell? I expect them not to have a spectacular success but I think at least the ps4 will sell a good slow start.
