Re: high quality repro cart labels?
So, the site I posted above seems to have the labels I need for my repros, but when I printed one out for testing, it took up over half a page by default! Does anyone know what pixel dimensions to shrink it to using paint?

You probably printed it at the wrong DPI. Paint might not let you control that. I'd imagine those covers are at least 150 if not 300 DPI if they're quality.

The properties say 300 dpi. What would you suggest to print out the labels correctly?Hobie-wan wrote:You probably printed it at the wrong DPI. Paint might not let you control that. I'd imagine those covers are at least 150 if not 300 DPI if they're quality.

Re: high quality repro cart labels?
An actual graphics program. GIMP is free and has all the abilities of photoshop (except built in CMYK color) it'll allow you to print out how you want, you can control image resolution as well as display and print resolution.
And yes, 300DPI is the MINIMUM quality level for physical print. Anything lower and you will see artifacts.
If you need actual graphic design software, ImageScape is also free, it's akin to Illustrator.
