Wii-U thoughts so far
Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
My ZombiU pack didn't have a download for NintendoLand... I don't think any did.

Maybe it was tied to the console. As in you just go into the eshop and your console has a license for it, you can download it. Have a look and see. If you jump on Nintendo forums it looks like their were two bundles, one that advertised having Nintendoland, on that did not.Reprise wrote:My ZombiU pack didn't have a download for NintendoLand... Depends on the region you are from as to if the bundle comes with it I am pretty sure, but I would try it anyway I guess.

I'm from the UK and it's kind of irrelevant now since I bought NintendoLand anyways.emwearz wrote:Maybe it was tied to the console. I'll check anyway, but I don't think it did here. I remember there was confusion because originally retailers had accidentally (or it was implied) that the ZombiU bundle was the deluxe pack with NintendoLand as well and then later it was confirmed that the ZombiU pack didn't come with NintendoLand.

Might be a US thing, wouldn't be the first time PAL zones are left in the dark.
Also just announced that the Wii U version of Splinter Cell wont have offline co-op, apparently in order to ensure the game could shit at the same time, they omitted it, still have the full features of online.

I'm in the U.S. and NintendoLand came with the ZombiU Pack. It was just a small piece of paper with the download code on it.Reprise wrote:My ZombiU pack didn't have a download for NintendoLand... I don't think any did.

I think Europe's ZombiU bundle was different, no Pro controller or Nintendoland. This US bundle came out in February. That's when I bought my system.Octopod wrote:

It's weird, I purchased the Pro controller for $24.99 off Amazon and I have yet to use it in a game. It's a nice feeling controller, I'll give it that much. :pReprise wrote:We didn't get NintendoLand, but we did get the Pro Controller.CavZee wrote:I think Europe's ZombiU bundle was different, no Pro controller or Nintendoland. The gamepad is actually quite comfortable and the second display is neat even if it's not needed in a game, which is probably why the Pro isn't being used by me.

@Stark
I know I said launch titles, but I really mean the first roll out of games for about the first 6-9 months. Mario 64 and Killer Instinct are some crazy exclusives and enough reason to get the system IMHO, but thats just me.
I am looking at the WiiU titles up until now and it seems like there are no games that are worthwhile getting except Epic Mickey 2 and ZombieU . All other games seem to be enhanced version of earlier releases on ps3/360. I could be wrong though . Monster Hunter 3 is on the Wii so that doesn't count.

If you're talking exclusives, there's Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101 out soon, New Super Mario Bros U and Lego City Undercover too. If not just exclusives, there's a few decent games out.RCBH928 wrote:I am looking at the WiiU titles up until now and it seems like there are no games that are worthwhile getting except Epic Mickey 2 and ZombieU . Overall though, the lineup is a bit weak at the moment.
