I can always appreciate shining a light on games that don't get much attention, but...
harsh.

Great list!
I'd add Tokio Scramble Formation (Taito, 1986) to it

Er, yeah. That's kinda the point of the thread, isn't it?
I wouldn't get too hung up about it. Two stars is a game that has some redeeming features that some people might enjoy. Three stars is an above average (i.e. good) game that I like and is worth playing and which I recommend. So don't worry, I like MUSHA! It's just that it's pretty easy and the vast majority of your score comes once you beat the final boss, thus rendering scoring a bit pointless. Look at the playthrough:
Score at 34 minutes (just before final boss) - 20 million
Score at 37 minutes (the end) - 130 million

I think that's one I had on the list, so I might get round to it eventually.nagwack wrote:Great list!

Nice topic, looking forward to more.

You should look into Banshee for Amiga 1200, too

The point of this thread is to showcase you as an authority? Well, it is now.DocHauser wrote:Er, yeah. That's kinda the point of the thread, isn't it?EllertMichael wrote:DocHauser wrote:Harsh but fair!![]()
BTW that MUSHA playthrough doesn't even milk the 2nd stage boss.

Re: Shmups That Time Forgot
I think I'll be sticking to arcade/MAME games for the time being, as it's easier to record my own gameplay footage. If I do Amiga games, I suppose I can just nick someone else's gameplay footage.nagwack wrote:You should look into Banshee for Amiga 1200, too
