How would this work as a game in any way?

Supposedly there was a problem with studio ghibli and problems with video game makers back in the 80's.

there's some old articles out there where there Was Violence in the video game adaptation of Nausiica. Studio ghibli wanted none of that and banned any future games of their anime.

This was on old 80's hardware, very primitive. But they still had a fit.

There has been very little stuff since then. Only recently they changed their policy when they helped make Ni No Kuni.

There were lots of missed opportunities.

It would have been awesome to see a Porco Rosso flight video game!

Didn't Nausicaä have rifles and flying battleships and fire fights? Atleast some of their 1980s movies did. Though it was later, but Mononke certainly had violence in it. Way more graphic than anything on you'd see on a MSX or Famicom game adaptation.
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box

Ever get into an argument over your answer to a hypothetical question? I think a boat or sea plane is a perfectly acceptable answer to "if you were stuck on a desert island and could only have one thing what would it be?"

Been digging the whole mind, body, and spirit thing lately. Dabbing into guided meditation over the last couple of weeks and this stuff is truly legit. Everytime I find a good one, it completely eliminates all pain in my neck/shoulder that I've dealt with for years now. It's incredible how crazy this is.

I figured it out two years ago, but I guess I have some pretty bad internal anger issues... time to finally sort this shit out. If only I could take a month off and disappear into some cabin out in the middle of nowhere. Need to hit that reset button.

Meditation is really great. Whether you believe in the spiritual stuff or not, studies have proven that meditation is good for your brain (probably due to the steady breathing and relaxation). It has always helped me physically and mentally. When I was a younger I would do it regularly, but kinda just stopped when I was 19. Really want to get back into it though...

With my luck yea. If I was thinking correctly i.e. felt more bold (read had been drinking) I would have said something along the lines of all I would need is you baby. I found out part of the reason she got so mad was that she likes me and probably took my response as just blowing off her question. Actually I find it even funnier now.

If that already leads to an argument, imagine what it would be like if you had a relationship with it... lol
