Saturn cart port?

Post by ruiner »

How do you tell if your saturn cart port is dead? I got a 4in1 the other day. The menu doesn't show up, But with some games it works. Cyberbots goes into 3mb mode D&D Asks for 4MB cart. But Marvel superhereos vs street fighter works. Is it the cart or the system?

there is no such thing as 3mb mode,

games are done (that use the card) either 1mb or 4mb.

where did you get the card? link?

ok, i see, you have the action replay 4-in-1,

you should get a menu with that one,

are you using this card also to play japanese games on a usa system? if so then seems like its working as a modded saturn wont play games from other regions,

to me seems like the cartridge itself is the problem because you should get the menu

lets see if anyone else has anything else to say here.

also, sometimes you have to insert the cart in a few times to get it to work right, just dont do it with the power on.

There is a nice region patcher available that will patch any sega saturn iso image
from pal -> ntsc and vise versa.

Why don't you try patching one of those games that aren't working ?
