Best titles of these PS1 series?

Cool Boarders, Twisted Metal, Syphon Filter, Jet Moto & Spyro...

All these series have three or more titles on the PS1. Which are the best ones of each series your opinion and why?

Twisted Metal 2 Definately. Great maps, cars, and sound.

Cool Boarders 2 and 2001 were the only cool boarders I owned. I think I'll go with Cool Boarders 2 as I found it funner.

Syphon Filter 2 is probably the best of the three, although there honestly isn't much seperating both the original and its sequel. If you can, play both. Ignore SF3 though, it's not too good.

I second the opinions that Twisted Metal 2 and Syphon Filter 2 were the best. As I understand it, TM2 was the last TM game on the PS1 that had Jaffe (of God of War fame) at the helm, and it's a lot more polished and interesting than the first TM.

Syphon Filter 2 is longer than SF 1, with more interesting, dynamic levels, and about 60% less terrible voice acting. SF 3 isn't bad, per se, just forgettable. Play it if you're craving more of the same kind of thing.

Don't know about Jet Moto or Cool Boarders though.

Jet Moto 2 was the first game I had for my Playstation. I was rather young though and I haven't played any of the others so I don't think my opinion should be considered too strongly. Overall, I found it to be a pretty cool game and I remember the levels being pretty crazy near the end of it. It was also really hard but then again, what game isn't to a 7-year-old?

i used to play cool borders a lot. i think i spent most of my time with cool borders 3.
