Anyone else find time stamps no longer working in youtube

Post by Gamerforlife »

I try the whole "#t=" thing when I post links to skip to a specific part of a video and it doesn't seem to work anymore. I tried googling and as if often the case with google these days, nothing useful turned up. Just a bunch of links telling me to do the very thing that I'm telling you guys doesn't work.

Ugh, weird.

I recently saw an article on CNET that most ISP's intentionally slow down or block (to an extent) youtube nowadays. This is not surprising in the least since it doesn't run as well as it used to for me. Buffering left and right, and I talked to some others about this... remember when a video was loaded, you could easily skim around and go back to any point, almost like you had it downloaded? Yeah I can't remember the last time I was able to do that. Now if I want to replay something, or go back to a point, if Comcast isn't being nice then chances are it has to buffer again and crap.

Lame. I really can't wait for Google to bully these guys and turn things around, I hope.

I just tried it and it seems to be working fine for me. Weird.
