I'd say it's more the 32X, and an unwillingness to fight in front of a Democratic senate hearing in Congress.

Unwillingness to fight in front of a Democratic Senate hearing in Congress? What's this? I know that Sega had some trouble with the law, like the whole Mortal Kombat/Night Trap thing; and I think there was some trouble with them surrounding the whole contracting thing that Nintendo did back in the mid-to-late 80's. Is that what you're talking about?

Hah, is it really so easy? Oh, and on the subject of Moderating; what are the rules as far as language here? I think I once saw it somewhere that Racket's not too crazy about lots of swearing, but then I see that Mozgus's signature is, "FUCK YOU MOZGUS, YOU FUCKING FUCK!" so I'm a bit confused on the matter.

Nah, I was making a crack about those Senate hearings. Sega did its best to present itself to look like a decent company in front of Joe Lieberman and Herbert Kohl, but Nintendo began attacking them in the middle of the proceedings on the content of their games. It didn't exactly do Sega any favors in front of the feds, if you get my drift.

As for being a mod, there's kinda a joke here about the mods being the most long-winded and the most offensive. The quote you're referring to actually came from me during a thread Mozgus had put up about him receiving hatemail in regards to his views on women. Keep the swearing to a minimum(in truth, this is me keeping my swearing to a minimum. I can out-curse a sailor), and no racial slurs, this ain't the place. Not that I expect you to use them, but you asked.

Just do your best to stay polite, and remember that everybody here loves games, and you'll do fine.

Name's Jack! I'm 20 from Canberra, Australia!

I've been a gamer ever since I got my Game Boy from my uncle when I was 4.

I'm right into collecting at the moment, and have scored about 13 consoles and almost 400 games in about 6 months!

Aside from games, I'm an IT student at University and I love to play bass guitar :)
