Dinosaurs for Hire

Post by zigzag77 »

Haven't played this for ages! But I remember it being a decent co-op game for its time. I think its been over looked as one of the better games for Genesis.

What are your thoughts?

I miss when everything was about dinosaurs instead of zombies.

Great... Now I have the urge to go play Cadillacs and Dinosaurs.

I've never played Dinosaurs for Hire, but the gameplay videos sure look fun.

It's a must play, grab a buddy and a case of beer and try it, will not be disapointed, good hidden gem within the genesis.

I had forgotten about this game! I used to rent it when I was a kid.

On the note about Dinosaurs making a come-back, a lot of younger kids (including mine) are into this show called "Dinosaur Train". It's a show where I find out that I was taught some crap about dinosaurs that wasn't even true growing up (They probably just learned more about dinos in the past 20 years).

I've only played a little bit of it, and that was solo. The opening level was pretty fun, especially fighting that big boss that climbs the building, but after that when I went into the sewers I started getting bored. Maybe it would be more fun if I was playing co-op.

The 90's ruled. I wonder if dinosaurs came back to vogue now if many of them would be depicted with more feathers.

Co-op is unfortunately terrible since the screen scrolling makes platforming segments insanely difficult and frustrating with two people. They really didn't think the co-op mode through.

Im in a hunt for this game since i have accidentally discovered it on youtube. i think the whole stuff is sick and ultratrash. Dinos with big guns - that is exactly what i need. I also recommend Jurassic Park Rampage Edition which is a genesis exclusive you can choose the Raptor.
