SNES - i have a big library (also counts the Super Game Boy library extensions for GB).
Genesis/CD/32X - genesis does what nintendon't.
N64 - (i have a flash cart that plays 70% of the NES library for N64...so two in one).

...also, no loading time or over heat issues for those consoles. :P

The second one would be my GBA. It is the best hand-held console for me personally.

The third and final one would be the SNES. I don't actually own one but in my perfect world I would love to have a SNES along with the entire games catalogue and all the accessories.

But the best platform of all is the PC!
^ get a normal DS and you'll have double the amount of games you can get. I like the DS screen more than the SP and it doesn't ramp my hands. just sayin'

Why get a DS when you can get a 3DS that's backwards compatible with the DS library?
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box

Depends on how you look at this.

Systems and the games I physically own legit copies of? NES, PS2, Gamecube. I have the largest collection of games for those, and some of the best memories.

Taking into account the fact the flash drives I own? Famicom, SNES, DS lite. -- Everdrive N8 lets me play all my NES games in addition to Famicom, SD2SNES opens up the whole library of overly-expensive RPGs, and Acekard 2i/EZ-Flash 3in1 combine for an enormous collection of handheld games

Adding in emulation to the mix? PS3, PSP, and uhh... do I really need a third? PS3 for home system emulation, PSP for handheld emulation, done and done. I'd probably keep the NES as my 3rd for nostalgia purposes.

I've considered selling before, but I would NEVER make back the money I've invested, especially with the various mods and such, and I don't really NEED the money/space, so why bother?

Thought-provoking question though.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed

I dunno, I believe the game library of 3DS will eventually outclass that of GBA. And there's always the Gameboy player for the Gamecube (unless you stick to having 3 consoles/handhelds).

I think if I were in that situation I would start resorting to those multi-consoles like the Retron 3. I would say keep a backwards compatible PS3, an Xbox 360, and a Retron 3. That would be like keeping 8 consoles but having them cleverly disguised:)
I am buying all Saturn games, PM me with your offerings and I will let you know if I need the game or not! (Everything must be CIB)

Currently trying to knock off all the sports games, would like to get them <$5 each! Of course if you would like to donate them I will gladly pay the shipping! :)
