Really? It said It could be used for GBC too.

Not unless the GBC system itself uses tri-wing screws. I don't have one so I don't know. They're certainly full of keyword spam crap for putting GB and GC on there. There are no tri-wing screws on a Game Boy or a Gamecube.

Heh, n00b didn't know what he was selling. Oh well, I got a Game Bit, and it should come on Friday. I'm leaving for a vacation on Saturday so I need it, like, badly.
I really just post questions most of the time. I'm that kind of person, but who cares...

FWIW, I know the GCN controller uses triwing screws, but yeah, not the console itself. And IIRC the GBC console uses them too (I own one and took it apart once) but definitely not the carts.

Forgot about that as I haven't had to open one in quite a while. Still, lazy 'spam everything Nintendo' in the listing. Still useful for cleaning GBA carts anyway.

Got it fixed two weeks ago, sorry I didn't reply then, but can someone lock this?

They don't lock threads around here like that, but posting details of your fix might be helpful in the future for any one that finds this thread in a Google. Exactly what you did to fix the problem, if it worked, and if you were able to keep your save file. You can also edit your first post in this thread and add "FIXED" or "SOLVED" (in all caps like that) to the beginning or end of the thread title, that's always helpful too.

No, it has a RTC (real time clock). If it's night time in real life, it's night time in the game. I remember explicitly because when I played through the game (Crystal, actually, but more or less the same thing) for the first time about two years ago, I was only able to play it in the evening. Thus, it was always night time in the game and that effected encounters and such. The seasons are also affected in the game depending on what time of year it is in real life. Being that it only took me a week or two to play through the game, I only got to experience one season. I thought it was all kind of annoying, I would have preferred if the game used it's own time.
