It is entirely possible that the VMU battery is dead, as it turns out mine is. Fortunately, it doesn't affect it's ability to store data, which is nice.
But I must agree, by and large the 32 bit revolution was a step backwards in graphical quality. Yes, you had the 2D gems here and there, and the prerendered backgrounds in Resident Evil and Final Fantasy were nice looking, but the SNES had much more consistently nice looking graphics. But it was necessary, as awesome 3D effects don't just sprout up over night. Plus, remember back in the day when Star Fox on the SNES was amazing?

i noticed the vmu dead battery as when i picked it out it didnt work
the noise from the cd, what is it called, spinner? its just squeky and noisey
other than the the system is great
just need tips on keeping it alive
as for graphics, dont get me wrong, I love N64 graphics maybe for nostalgic reasons but playing that next to the dreamcast which was next generation,,,it didnt even compare
huge step from 32bit to the ps2 generation...just so big of a huge step. Dont want to argue but to me from N64 generation to PS2, graphics wise, its a bigger step than PS2 current generation

thats because last generation was more of a step up in smooth graphics w/ high polygon counts. The jump to this generation has really only seen ultra high resolution textures as a upgrade imo.kingmohd84 wrote:i noticed the vmu dead battery as when i picked it out it didnt work
