Street Fighter X All Capcom

Today Capcom Online Games announced, among other titles, Capcom X All Capcom.

While they didn't announce many details regarding the game, the chibified art style has me thinking we could be seeing another SRPG title in the works. I'm hoping we see some classic Capcom characters like Firebrand from Ghosts n Goblins/Gargoyle's Quest and maybe some cameos from Final Fight like Damnd or Sodom.

You guys have any thoughts or expectations for this newly revealed title? Here's hoping it isn't just a half-assed cash grab, because there's tons of potential in the Capcom universe to make this a ton of fun.

I know a lot of people get a bad taste in their mouths when they hear mobile, but that doesn't have to be a death sentence for a title. I thought Deus Ex: The Fall was fantastic, and really channeled the core mechanics of Human Revolution. Also, the Penny Arcade role playing games work really well on mobile devices, and I can see a game like Project X Zone doing well. I'll reserve judgement until we know a bit more about the final game.

I was lucky enough to dodge that bullet. I'll stick with the original release. I guess it all boils down to the company when it comes to mobile games. It's no secret Capcom has done some pretty brazen cash grabs in the past (on disc DLC, barely improved sequels, etc) Here's hoping the company can get out of that mindset and start making some new ip at some point.
