Thrift store finds! Heck ya!
I just scored a power glove for 7 dollars at a thrift store this morning with the instructions and sensor bar and it all works. It's so bad... Anyone else find anything recently?
Re: Thrift store finds! Heck ya!
I just picked up an Intellivision with 20 boxed games plus Metroid and Mike Tyson's Punch Out for around 30 bucks. Not a killer deal, but the everything works perfect and about 15 out of 20 of the games are good titles.

Well not exactly thrift store but craigslist
bout a month ago
13 games for dreamcast 40 bucks
Marvel vs cap, marvel vs cap 2, grandia 2, powerstone, to mention a few in the lot.
Then a few days later I'm walking by my apartments dumpster
next to it is a box with an intellivision with 8 games, an
NES with a few games and a couple atari 2600 games.
All cords accounted for.

Haven't been lately, but last time I found Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 for the PC, for only a buck.
One of the first times I went to a thrift store, I found an N64 with Composite AV cable, power adapter, no controllers or games, for only $3. Gr8est find, second only to the N64, is a tie between Dragon Warrior and Legend of Zelda goldcart, each for only a buck. Worst deal? A PlayStation (one of the last pre-PSOne models) that didn't work, cost about $10, and all I did was harvest the part that had the controller inputs and card slots and that part's gone now. Best surprise? Street Fighter the Movie for Saturn CIB w/ a "Fighting Vipers" disc for only a few bucks.

I just picked up a 3DO for $10. Works perfectly, only missing the A/V cable, and any of em will work since it's the standard kind, basically. Probably the best find I've had so far. Oh and I also got a strat guide for one of the Fire Emblem games for fifty cents.
I have a ton of games listed at my store's site: Super Smash Video Games

In the last month I found Chakan the Forever Man and Splatterhouse 3, both genesis and cart only, for $1 each, and FF7+Saga Frontier, both complete and mint, for $5 each.
Re: Thrift store finds! Heck ya!
In the past few weeks I found Super Mario 64 and Rygar for NES for $2/ea. Also, yesterday I saw two sealed copies of Tomb Raider for the NGage for $2/ea. (Didn't pick those up though.)
Not thrift store finds, but at Target I got Bully for Wii for $12 and the Simpsons game for Wii for $7. I wouldn't have bought the Simpsons game in any other situation, but 7 bucks for a new Wii game is simply too cheap to pass up. I've got a damned good stocking stuffer for my son this Christmas now.

working NES2, with the round controller-thing and all cables, working
$6
I got an Intellivision at a yard sale a while back, too. It was a pretty good deal, but I can't remember how much.

That's an awesome deal for the nes2. It's really great for playing imports with a convertor, too bad it's only rf. Still those go for like 60-80 around here. nice.romnempire wrote:working NES2, with the round controller-thing and all cables, working

I'd say an Intellivision with 20 Boxed games for $30 alone is a killer deal. I just spent a good bit more on a Colecovision with a just a few more boxed games.ott0bot wrote:I just picked up an Intellivision with 20 boxed games plus Metroid and Mike Tyson's Punch Out for around 30 bucks.
