That...doesn't appear to be happening at the minute, does it? Should we have a ringer shmup to fill in for August? :)

What? They aren't having it? That seems rather odd.....

It has started late August/September before. I'd be shocked if they didn't hold it at all.

It appears to be the case that it isn't going to be taking place next month. I'd rather not go through all the voting and vetting to choose a game to play in 3 days, it would be easier to take one from an upcoming month at this point. If you all wanna do Raiden IV, I'm not gonna be doing that one anyway when it was gonna come up (no 360). However, if it still might be in late August/early September, would our September game be better to switch in? Whatever we do, please let's make a decision quickly so I can at least give whatever game it's going to be the proper writeup it deserves by the 1st.

Well I don't see much discussion about it, so for now I'm just gonna make the call and say August is now Shienryuu, since it is next in line. If there's any major opposition to that do speak up today or tomorrow, otherwise I think it'll be easiest to just roll with that.

I am down for Shienryu for next month!

I think I am done with Rapid Hero. I spent more time on this than I care to admit!

Anyway, that Stage 6 difficulty is killer. I had no choice but to bomb spam certain points.

hashiriya1 - 1,901,240 - Stage 7 - MAME

I'm ashamed to say I threw in the towel pretty early in the month despite how excited I was for this game
No sound emulation on my xbox killed it for me.
Plus, I've been hitting DaiOuJou pretty hard lately :P

I didn't have sound either, which sucked. So I just put on some headphones and let Pantera supply the soundtrack.
